There are many Sakyamuni orchards in Chenghai, Shantou, which are mainly distributed in Dongli Town, Yanhong Town, Lianhua Town and other places. The most famous one is Sakyamuni Orchard in Zhanglin Village, Dongli Town, Chenghai District. The Sakyamuni Orchard in Zhanglin Village has a history of more than 2 years. It was planted by seedlings brought back by overseas Chinese living in Thailand. Because the local soil and climate conditions are suitable, the Sakyamuni fruit produced is large, sweet and delicate, and has the reputation of "Sakyamuni in Zhanglin". The Sakyamuni Orchard in Zhanglin Village has been on the market since September every year until November. It is a local specialty agricultural product and a timely fruit of the Mid-Autumn Festival.
