I stayed in Jiaxing for two years. The main scenic spots are South Lake and Yuehe Ancient Street. The South Lake has a strong sense of history, politics and culture, and Yuehe River is also worth visiting. The bar street is also lively at night, but now it is cold, and there are barbecues in summer. There are more scenic spots nearby. If you have enough time, you can go to Xitang, go shopping during the day or find a small cafe to cat, and take a boat at night (it may be a little cold) or find a bar. I have been there twice. There are many ancient towns and scenic spots near Zhejiang.
If you want to eat, you can go near Meiwan Street or Xuhui Square. If you don't mind the roadside stalls, there are many foods near Jiaxing College.
The specialty is Zongzi, Wufangzhai, Zhenlaolao and other brands. Generally, they will give away other specialties besides Zongzi. Supermarkets, railway stations or some specialized stores all sell them.
have a good time!
