Henan Art School (formerly known as Henan Opera School), founded in 1956, is a comprehensive professional school that trains all kinds of artistic talents. 1980 was designated as a national key secondary specialized school by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Culture. 1994 was rated as a provincial and ministerial key secondary art school.
