Wuyishan is a famous mountain of three religions in China, one of the world heritages of China, a dual heritage of world culture and nature, and a famous AAAAA tourist attraction in China. Famous landscapes include Tianyou Peak, Yixiantian, water curtain cave, Jiuquxi, Wuyi Palace, Dahongpao, ancient Seoul ruins and ancient Min culture, all of which are unique here. Therefore, tourists coming to Wuyishan are in an endless stream, and most of them have experienced drifting with nine twists and eighteen bends. Although the fare is 130 yuan/person, you have to tip the boatman dozens of dollars. After disembarking, they all said it was worth it.
Speaking of bamboo raft rafting, many scenic spots in China have this experience project, but Wuyishan Jiuqu rafting is really unique. The local people also said that Wuyishan can only be regarded as drifting in nine bends and eighteen bends. Why do you say that? Let's find the answer for me!
Wuyishan bamboo raft rafting refers to Jiuqu River rafting, which is the soul of Wuyishan Scenic Area. It refers to the 9.5-kilometer drifting project from Xingcun Wharf to Wuyi Palace, which takes about 70 minutes to 90 minutes. The ancients visited the beautiful scenery of Jiuqu against the current, but now Jiuqu drifts down the river, and the 998 bend that can be enjoyed along the way is the most beautiful in summer!
People who have never been here will say, isn't it just drifting? There are many scenic spots, so what's so interesting about the sameness?
Jiuqu drifting has been the soul of Wuyishan scenic area since ancient times, so it has spread in Wuyishan. You have never been to Wuyishan, so you have never experienced Jiuqu and Eighteen Bends. Regarding the drifting of Jiuqu, I think it can be divided into five characteristics, namely, stone carvings, relics, culture, peaks and strange rocks.
1, cliff stone carving
Cliff carvings left over from ancient times can be seen everywhere in Wuyishan. According to incomplete statistics, there are more than 500 stone carvings. These stone carvings not only embellish the picturesque scenery of Wuyishan, but also contain the profoundness of China traditional culture, which also endows Wuyishan with soul and high humanistic value. There are many stone carvings in "One of the Nine Songs", among which Qi Jiguang's "Gentleman is a stranger in Nanjing and easy to eat in Beiping". Huang Guan cloth robe, visit here again "is the most inscription.
2. Ancient Fujian culture
Ship burial is a relic of the funeral custom of ancient Fujian and Vietnam people. This is a custom of hiding coffins by using caves on cliffs. This custom is unique to the ancient Fujian culture and has a history of more than 3,800 years. This kind of burial system is called "Hongqiao board" and "coffin lying on the boat" in the local area, which can be seen on the cliff drifting in Jiuqu.
3. Historical sites
Historical sites can be seen in both the Five Songs and the Four Songs. The ruins of the royal tea garden in the middle of the Fourth Song Dynasty were left over from the Yuan Dynasty. The Wuyi Jingshe under Yin Pingfeng is in these five songs.
4. Famous mountain peaks
You can see two landmark peaks of Wuyi Mountain-Yunv Mountain and Tianyou Peak-in the Jiuqu drifting. In particular, the Jade Girl Mountain in the second song is not only a symbol of Fujian Province, but also hung as a painting in the Great Hall of the People. Everyone who has been to Wuyishan will take a group photo with Yunu Mountain as a souvenir, and of course I am no exception.
The boatman who punted for us said to me: The third sister in Yunushan is the tallest, the second sister is the most beautiful and the third sister is the youngest. She fell in love the earliest, so you can see her big belly from another angle.
God bless the peak can be seen in six songs, which is also the shortest journey. Pay attention to the introduction of the boatman.
5. Shibage Water Zoo
It is called "Water Zoo" because there are many strange peaks and rocks on both sides of Jiuqu, some like lying lions, some like monkeys, some like pandas and some like camels. These stones are lifelike and are named turtle stone, cat stone, elephant nose stone, etc.
As for drifting tips, it is almost customary. The "rules" that have existed since drifting have now become a habit. The reason why boatmen accept "tips" is to learn from Lao Zhao who punted for us.
They start their shifts before seven o'clock every morning. After finding their own bamboo rafts, they pushed them into the river with their partners (some of them are husband and wife stalls) and waited for the first batch of tourists to start their day's work. If you can't have breakfast, you can only solve it during the shift. Lao Zhao said that in the general season, they are very lucky to have one class a day, and sometimes they have to wait for several days before they can be assigned to themselves. In the peak season, they can be assigned up to three classes a day. Pay 80 yuan for a boat trip. After deducting other expenses such as bamboo raft maintenance, it is good to have a balance of 40 thousand yuan to 50 thousand yuan every year. If there is an accident, the loss will be incalculable.
Lao Zhao said that although "tipping" has become a custom now, many tourists are very disgusted with tipping. Some people don't understand that they have already spent money on tickets. Why do they have to tip again?
In my opinion, if you want to play Jiuqu rafting well, I suggest paying a certain tip, which is extra income for boatmen. For us, it is to better understand the history, culture and folk anecdotes of Wuyi Mountain. It is very reasonable to advocate knowledge payment now. If you give the boatman a certain tip, you can know where it looks better than others, and the effect of shooting from that angle is also good, and you can also listen to folk anecdotes about Wuyishan.
I also saw many tourists leave messages on the Internet saying that they drifted all the way down because they didn't pay the boatman a tip. They were originally the last people to leave, but when they arrived at their destination, they found themselves the first, which became a lifelong regret.
1, Jiuqu sequence
The sequence of Jiuqu River in Jiuqu drifting is upstream, so when drifting down, Jiuqu River is seen first, and then Jiuqu River. Every time I look back, there are different styles of Jiuqu River. Sitting on a bamboo raft, you can not only hear stories told by boatmen through the ages, but also hear beautiful legends and folk anecdotes.
2. The number of bamboo rafts
Each bamboo raft has 6-8 people, who are mainly responsible for punting in front and steering at the back. Generally, it is a husband-and-wife file, with the wife punting and the husband at the helm.
Finally, have you ever been to Wuyi Mountain? Have you ever experienced Jiuqu rafting? Have you ever tipped the boatman while drifting? What do you think of tipping the boatman? Welcome everyone to leave a message in the comment area!
