at 11 a.m. on March 23rd, our Sunflower Class launched the theme activity "I have an agreement with the grassland".

"The sky is grey, the wild is boundless, and the wind blows the grass to see cattle and sheep ..." With this northern folk song "Chile Song" which children are familiar with, we started the theme of "I have an agreement with the grassland" in the picture sense of the vast grassland.

In order to implement the teaching strategy of diagnosis first, we released the core task on the day of the theme opening: to be a small grassland guide-to make a travel guide to a certain grassland and publicize it. The specific implementation of the core tasks includes introducing the grassland, what preparations need to be made before going, how to plan the travel time, how to publicize this travel guide to attract more tourists, etc. This process also corresponds to the theme diagnosis. This core task is complex and comprehensive, and it is also difficult and challenging. However, students will feel "I can do it" and "I can do it" through the study of this topic, and the core task is based on real problem situations and realistic. At the same time, grassland is a place that children particularly like and yearn for, so this core task can also stimulate students' interest. Most importantly, the core task can carry the grade field goal, topic goal and subject goal.

driven by the core tasks, we divide this theme into three units, which correspond to three sub-tasks, namely, understanding grassland, learning grassland culture and making travel strategies. In the first unit, we have a preliminary understanding of the grassland from the perspectives of climate and animal species. In the second unit, we learn the culture of grassland from the aspects of diet, singing and dancing, literary works and so on, and have a deeper understanding of grassland. In the third unit, we made a grassland travel strategy and completed the core task through the study of the series of picture books "The Mind Map of the crooked rabbit".

During the three-week topic, I led the children to learn the picture book "The Eagle of Mayila". Mayila and the golden eagle guarded the sheep together, grew up together, and flew to the vast world together. The children felt the most beautiful customs of Kazakh people on the Nalati grassland and fell in love with the vast grassland. We also studied the picture book "Inner Mongolia is Talking". The children learned that Inner Mongolia not only has a beautiful scene of "wind blowing grass and seeing cattle and sheep", but also has Gobi and Populus euphratica "fighting wild sand and getting drunk in the same month". Moreover, in this vast land of Inner Mongolia, beautiful natural scenery and enduring stories coexist, and then the understanding of grassland is more comprehensive; Through the study of the picture book Genghis Khan, children can appreciate the simple life style of the ancient Mongolian people, and at the same time, they can learn how to change their situation through hard work and realize their own growth, thus deepening their sense of identity with grassland culture; In addition, we also studied the picture books such as "crooked rabbit-where to go during the holiday" and "crooked rabbit's travel route", mainly learning the form of double bubble diagram and flow chart mind map, which laid the foundation for making clear grassland travel strategy. At the same time, in this theme, the knowledge of mathematics subjects such as "division with remainder" is also integrated, so that children can apply what they have learned and use the calculation method of division with remainder to solve the real life problems encountered in making grassland travel guides.

In addition, on this theme, Teacher Jia Jia led the children to learn the picture book Here is the African savanna, and learned about the landscape and climate of the Chinese grassland and the African savanna. I learned about all kinds of animals on the grassland through On the Grassland. The picture book "Little Tuya Moving" is the main picture book of Unit 1. Through the life of the Mongolian Little Tuya family, children learn about the changes of nomadic life; Not only that, the children learned about the grassland culture through White Horse of Su He, which is a masterpiece in a picture book. It tells the confrontation between the lower class and power politics from the perspective of Ma Touqin in ancient times, and also conveys the values of equality and freedom within the range that children can understand. The study of our theme courses revolves around understanding grassland, learning grassland culture and making grassland travel strategies, and our core tasks are being carried out in an orderly manner. After the theme, the children made travel guides for different grasslands and prepared for the next publicity activities. The children first divide themselves into groups and choose their favorite grassland. Then the division of labor and cooperation, some children are responsible for looking up information, some children are responsible for making mind maps, some children are responsible for making invitations, and some children even teach themselves grassland songs and dances and practice them repeatedly, so as to show everyone the infinite charm of grassland, let everyone fall in love with grassland and follow the raiders to visit grassland. With the unremitting efforts and cooperation of the children, we have prepared gorgeous grassland costumes, rich grassland food, beautiful grassland songs and dances, and of course, wonderful grassland travel strategies! Everything was ready, and the children rushed to various classes with irresistible excitement to present their elaborate and exquisite invitations. We waited quietly and counted down for the opening of the event.

On Tuesday morning, during the big class break, the theme activity "I have an agreement with the grassland" of Sunflower Class was officially opened in Sunflower Square. At the activity site, the children were divided into four groups, namely, Zorig Tu Group-Xilamuren Grassland. The members of the group included Liu Qirui, Sun Xinyuan, Xin Song Firefly, Ma Jiateng and Zhang Xinran. Some children also sang local songs and dances and performed local dances, and some even brought the stuffy donkey wine and milk tea from Inner Mongolia. The activity site was once very lively, attracting other teachers and students to watch. Some students even said "take a walk and have a look, don't miss it when you pass by", which attracted a burst of laughter at the event. The combination of beautiful singing and touching dancing attracted the attention of teachers and students. With the careful preparation of the children and the full support of the parents of Sunflower Class, the children performed very well.
