Suzhou Pingtan, which is very popular in Tik Tok, is a jasmine flower. Suzhou Pingtan is the general name of Suzhou Pingtan and Suzhou Tanci, and it is a traditional storytelling drama form with Wu dialect. History

The most famous artist is Wang Zhoushi, who once sang for Emperor Qianlong. During Jiaqing and Daoguang years, there were four famous artists: Chen Yugan, Mao Changpei, Yu Xiushan and Lu Ruiting. Liu Jingting, a famous storyteller in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, once told stories in Suzhou and its vicinity, which is closely related to Suzhou storytelling. In the middle of Qing Dynasty, Suzhou Pinghua entered its heyday, and Guangyu Society, the earliest guild organization of Suzhou Pingtan, was established. During the reign of Xianfeng and Tongzhi, famous storytellers such as Yao Shizhang who said Water Margin appeared.
