Drum Tower
Location: No.2 Park Road, Haishu District, Ningbo
Drum Tower, also known as Haishu Building, is the only remaining ancient city building site in Ningbo. Its lower part is the traditional tower style of China, but above the tower is the bell tower in Roman style, with a unique combination of Chinese and western styles. Nowadays, the Drum Tower is surrounded by an antique pedestrian shopping area, and Ningbo specialty snacks such as Youzanzi are worth a try. Nowadays, the Drum Tower and the nearby Park Road have become the gathering places of major cultural activities in Ningbo, and art exhibitions, calligraphy exhibitions and photo exhibitions are often held in the building. On both sides of the road are shops imitating the traditional architectural style of Ningbo, with small green tile double-slope roofs, wind-fire horse-head walls and various fine external wall wood decorations, which not only have the style of traditional commercial streets in Ningbo, but also have a strong historical and cultural texture.
Xuedou Mountain Scenic Area
Location: Xuedou Mountain Tourist Center, Fenghua District, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province
Xuedou Mountain Scenic Area, located in the northwest of Xikou Town, Fenghua City, Zhejiang Province, is the highest peak of Siming Mountain, with an altitude of 8 meters. It has the reputation of "the first mountain in four Ming Dynasty". The scenic spots mainly include Xuedou Mountain and Xuedou Temple. The scenery on the mountain is beautiful, the air is fresh, waterfalls and streams are worth seeing, and the outdoor Maitreya Buddha statue is the most eye-catching in Xuedou Temple below the mountain. It usually takes half a day to visit Xuedou Mountain, and it is very convenient to walk with sightseeing bus, cableway and transportation.
Qiantong Ancient Town
Location: the center of Qiantong Town, Ninghai County, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province
Qiantong Ancient Town, located in the southwest of Ninghai County, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province, is an ancient town in the south of the Yangtze River with a long history, profound cultural accumulation and unique geographical environment. It retains a piece of old houses and old streets in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, which is known to the world because of Chen Yifei's film Barber. Compared with Zhouzhuang and Wuzhen, the scenery here is more primitive, and there are almost no commercial amusement projects, so it is more suitable for walking and taking photos.
