There are 13 stations in the first phase of Line 8: Sanjintan Depot, Hongtu Avenue, Tazi Lake, Houhu Avenue, Xingfu Avenue, Zhuyeshan, Zhaojiatiao, Huangpu Road, Xujiapeng, Xu Dong, Wangjiadun, Yuejiazui and Liyuan.

The second-phase project sites of Line 8: Liyuan Station, East Lake, Xingguo South Road, Fruit Lake Road, Bayi Road, Luoshi North Road, Yezhi Lake West and Yezhi Lake, with a total length of 17.4 kilometers and 12 stations, all of which are underground stations.

Wuhan metro line 8 is one of the rail transit lines connecting Hankou and Wuchang in Wuhan, and its main line project is divided into two phases, which is the fourth subway line crossing the Yangtze River in Wuhan and the first subway built by BT mode in Wuhan.
