In his later years (60 years old), Li Bai was sick and sleepy, and went to visit his uncle Li Jia in Dangtu, Maanshan. He died a year later, so he built a tomb in Dangtu Longshan, Maanshan and buried it.

It was not discovered until the 1960s after liberation, but the coffin was a relic, and there was only a piece of masonry of "Li Tomb". After archaeological research, it is determined that Dangtu in Maanshan is the graveyard of the famous ancient poet Li Bai.
