From the simple meals that Zhu Yuanzhang had as a teenager to the exquisite royal banquet that he later consumed as an emperor, it reflects Zhu Yuanzhang's arduous entrepreneurial journey and legendary life from a certain perspective.

"Hongwu Banquet" is based on the historical facts of Zhu Yuanzhang who fled from famine to beg for food, became a monk, and then defected to the peasant uprising army. He went through many hardships in the south and north, and finally seized power and established the Ming Dynasty. It is also based on folklore.

The anecdotes about Zhu Yuanzhang and the dishes he has eaten are based on the palace recipes of the Ming Dynasty.
