Liuzhou people's square is located in the central area of Liuzhou city. On the central axis of the city's main road, covering an area of 6 hectares, it is a square that combines musical fountains, garden green spaces and urban sculptures.

the people's square was rebuilt on the former site of "beijiaochang" in 1951, and its scale was formed after a large-scale expansion in 1986-1988.

There is a music fountain in the south of the square, which consists of a high spray platform and a low spray pool, covering an area of 1,43 square meters. 95 sets of nozzles and 313 colored underwater lights in the spray pool spray out 21 kinds of water shapes. When night falls and the lights are on, all kinds of nozzles turn on in turn to weave a colorful picture, which is known as "colorful spring and clear rhyme" and listed as one of the new eight scenic spots in Liuzhou.

The northern part of the square is a garden green area, with a total area of 2 hectares. The green area is covered with trees, shrubs with different shapes, lush grasslands and outstanding scenery. The whole landscape has typical southern garden characteristics. In the center of the square is a large-scale urban sculpture-"Gate of the Century". Two towering granite pillars hold a golden dragon soaring in the air, which is a symbol of Longcheng, meaning that the people of Longcheng will work hard and forge ahead. People's Square has become an important place for citizens to do morning exercises and have fun.
