Shanghai Lixin University of Accounting and Finance, referred to as "Lixin", is a full-time public institution of higher learning directly under Shanghai. It is a high-level local application-oriented university construction unit in Shanghai, a national graduate employment typical experience university, and a Shanghai fencing professional sports team reform pilot school. The name of "Li Xin" comes from the meaning of "People can't stand without faith" in The Analects of Confucius. The origin of the school can be traced back to the Lixin Education Enterprise founded by the famous educator, accountant and "the father of modern accounting in China" Mr. Pan Xulun in 1928, and obtained the qualification of postgraduate training in 201year. Since its founding 90 years ago, the school has been praised by the industry as one of the birthplaces of modern accounting education in China and the cradle of future financiers.

The school adheres to the concept of "student development as the center" and strives to cultivate high-quality applied talents with "integrity, practical ability, innovative consciousness and international vision". There are two undergraduate majors in finance and credit management, with more than 200 students 1.200. In 2008, 90% of financial graduates entered Chinese banks and foreign banks for employment, and 50% of them obtained master's degrees, which shows that financial majors have good employment prospects and development prospects.

In order to improve the talent training level of the college, the college and East China Normal University jointly trained graduate students majoring in finance, and eight teachers have served as tutors of graduate students majoring in finance in East China Normal University, providing a good platform for attracting and training high-level teachers. Finance is a key subject in our school and has a good foundation for development. With the support of the school, the discipline characteristics of "financial credit" have been established, and now three characteristic disciplines have been formed: innovative research on financial credit theory, financial credit and risk management, and financial credit environment construction.
