This series of compositions are all from a overlooking perspective, so when looking for materials, try to find pictures from the same perspective; Color matching is to find an ice cream color card on the petals. It feels small and fresh. At first, I absorbed its color and found it too light. Then I think people think this thing is delicious in their daily life. The first thing they see is color. The brighter the color of food, the more people want to eat it, so I choose high brightness and high saturation color to match it, and the final effect is not bad.

Several elements to complete an illustration are nothing more than composition reference, person or object reference, color matching reference, plus your own understanding and control of the picture, that is, technical reference. These elements are mutual in illustrations, and every step should be taken seriously.

Third, personal feelings.

Drawing illustrations is often closely related to our lives. Many references come from our lives. Observe the things around you and keep them in mind. It's good to remember. Always bring a small notebook to record your inspiration. Since I started to be a full-time illustrator, I will subconsciously think about my own decoration style, color matching, object placement and so on. Let me have a deep understanding of things around me, exercise my thinking, observe life and observe the world, and you will re-examine your relationship with the world and find your own illustration language.

When I started to learn illustration, I always unconsciously turned myself into a dead end. When I see other people's paintings are good, I always compare them. Why didn't I make progress?
