Baengnyeong Island, covering an area of ??46.37 square kilometers, is located near the northern dividing line between North Korea and South Korea. It is the largest and most westerly of the so-called "Five Islands in the West Sea" and is about 193 kilometers west of the city center of Incheon.

The Sand Kwan Cold Noodle Shop (82-32-835-0599) of the Sand Kwan Communications Korea is located next to the Sand Kwan natural airstrip and is a famous cold noodle shop. The noodle soup seasoned with fish sauce has a strong flavor, but has a refreshing and light aftertaste. The meat slices are also moderately fat and lean, with a smooth and tender texture. The Hwanghaido noodles here are also delicious, and the buckwheat noodles are very chewy. Tomojin Sendai Sashimi Shop (82-32-836-0755) is also a well-known gourmet restaurant on Baengnyeongdo Island. Incheon → Baengnyeongdo: Winter (October 21st ~ March 14th next year) Deokmok with SEMO Shipping (82-32-884-8700) Chris 5 and Pegasus, Jindo Transport (82-32-888-9600) and the White Ling Ireland go out to sea twice a day (7:40, 12:40). The boat passes through Xiao Qingdao and Da Qingdao, and the whole journey takes about 4 to 4.5 hours. Baengnyeong Island → Incheon, the boat departure time is the same as above.
