Oriental Gate is a building integrating high-end residence, five-star hotel, shopping center, apartment and office building. It is one of the landmark buildings in modern Suzhou. It is located at the eastern end of the CBD axis of Suzhou Industrial Park, adjacent to Xinggang Street and Jinji Lake in the east. Its design was jointly completed by British RMJM Architectural Design Company, China Arup Engineering Consulting Company and East China Architectural Design and Research Institute, and was invested by Ganning Real Estate. Construction started in 2008, which lasted for 7 years and was completed in August 2005. The Oriental Gate has a total construction area of about 463,000 square meters and a total height of 3,065,438+0.8 meters, of which the aboveground part is about 330,000 square meters, with 66 floors. The underground part is 6.5438+0.2 million square meters, with 5 floors in total. The Oriental Gate is divided into main structural units such as the South-North Tower and the South-North Skirt Building. The total height of the two towers is 278 meters, but the building floors are different, with 66 floors and 60 floors respectively.
