Grass. These aquatic plants did not affect the water quality. On the contrary, the local ecological environment is well preserved without human interference. Because of its abundant aquatic plants, fish and shrimp, and relatively stable winter weather, it has become a country.
Family-class protected animals, a wintering paradise for black-necked cranes. Caohai was established as a national nature reserve by the State Council in 1992. It is very close to Weining County, and it only takes about ten minutes to walk from the county center to Caohai.
2. baicaoping: One of the highest altitude areas in Guizhou, it is a very famous plateau grassland. The largest wind power generation area in Guizhou is concentrated here, where you can see flocks of cattle and sheep and windmills. Of course, it should be reminded that the weather on the plateau grassland is unpredictable, with showers and strong ultraviolet rays on sunny days.
3. Horses on the mountain: Only a part of the white lawn can be seen from a distance. On a sunny day, you can see windmills from a distance, which is very spectacular.
4. Shimenkan: Many people have heard of Shimenkan because it is poor and backward. As we all know, it used to be the cultural holy land of the ancestors of the Hui people and the Mecca in the hearts of many Hui people. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Shimenkan was one of the most splendid areas of Hui culture in China. However, with the development of the times, it has fallen into a corner, and the inconvenient transportation has gradually declined. A few years ago, there wasn't even a cement road that could pass here. Come here to see, not only to visit the holy land of the Hui people, but also to see how many children live here in China.
5. Mosques: There are many Hui mosques in the local area, most of which have a short history. If you want to find one with a long history, you should ask the locals. Mosques are also places where Hui children attend classes and study, but they are not necessarily open to the public. If you want to visit, you must ask first, and don't enter casually.
6. Yi, Miao and Hui: It is also interesting to visit the local ethnic customs, but after more than ten days of observation, it is found that the local ethnic minorities are seriously sinicized. So it's best to visit it during national festivals. Of course, it is another matter if you can find some antique places by yourself.
Local cuisine:
1, Weining Buckwheat Crisp: Buckwheat Crisp is a crisp cake made of buckwheat flour. There are more than ten different flavors, and there is always one that suits you. Eat one or two once in a while. I think it tastes good. But buckwheat crisp is fragile and not suitable for long-distance carrying.
2. Anhui cuisine: all kinds of beef and mutton dishes. I have always felt that the Hui people are a religious people, especially eating. Therefore, if I eat in an authentic Anhui restaurant, I am generally more at ease. At least I won't give you some meat I don't know what it is. When you arrive in the local area, you should still taste the authentic Hui characteristics and feel the difference between it and the northwest Hui flavor.
3. Ham and bacon products: Ham and bacon are found in most parts of Guizhou, especially Weining. Most of my teaching companions are from Guizhou, but they all bought some ham. My personal suggestion is that you can buy something to eat first and then decide whether to buy it or not. Personally, I feel a little greasy, which is not quite to my taste.
4. Potatoes (potatoes), pears, walnuts and delicacies: These things are essential in the plateau mountainous areas. Potatoes are the favorite of Guizhou people in their daily lives, but Weining is the most famous one. If you want to go, you must try various ways to eat potatoes. At the same time, due to the abundant sunshine in the plateau, when the local melons and fruits are naturally sweeter, you must taste the fresh fruits of the season when you go.
