Kunshan Bacheng is known as "the first crab city in the world". Yangcheng Lake Scenic Area in Bacheng is not only beautiful, but also rich in hairy crabs. The first crab feast in the world was born in Bacheng. The first person to eat crabs was Bacheng, from which Yangcheng Lake hairy crabs became famous. Autumn hairy crabs are the most tender and plump in a year, and autumn is also the most beautiful season in Yangcheng Lake. A large number of tourists came to Bacheng to taste the authentic Yangcheng Lake hairy crabs. In the season when hairy crabs are on the market every year, steamed hairy crabs, the signature dish of the time-honored Axi Crab Village, attract tourists from all over the country to taste delicious hairy crabs here.
Qiandeng Ancient Town, with a history of more than 2,500 years, is full of white walls and black tiles. The ancient town still preserves the architecture of Ming, Qing and Republic of China, and still retains the chessboard pattern of "land and water parallel", "river street adjacent" and the quaint style of "small bridge flowing with water". This is the birthplace and ancient hometown of silk and bamboo in the south of the Yangtze River, and the ninth generation of Tao Yuanming and Sun Taoxian was also born here. The town retains the Yu's pawn shop, which is called "the first pawn in China". Shiban Street in Ming and Qing Dynasties is "a must in the south of the Yangtze River", and it is the longest and most well-preserved Shiban Street in the province.
Kunshan Garden, visit the Pavilion Pavilion: Kunqu Museum, Gu Memorial Hall and Kunqu Museum are must-see attractions. Mount Yufeng Mountain, the only peak in Kunshan, and you can overlook the panoramic view of Lin Ting gardens and the scenery of Kunshan. Every year in the middle and late April, the Qionghua Art Festival will be held in Lin Ting Garden. From July to August, Lin Ting Garden will hold a Lotus Show, where the lotus will be in full bloom, and several flower heads will form a lotus with thousands of petals, which is beautiful and strange.
