MasterChef in the Wild is a cooking show produced by BBC America and broadcast on the BTV documentary channel. The contestants prepare food in a wild tribe without any kitchen and build simple cooking tools to cook. The show's quest for adventure and tenacity takes three gourmet chefs - award-winning New York restaurateur Michael Psilakis, award-winning chef Madison Cowan, and New Zealand chef Kane Raymond - out of the comfort of their kitchens and into the wild. A remote location. There, everyone must incorporate local hunting and traditional dietary ingredients, and then improve or innovate a series of dinners. The local tribesmen serve as judges to elect who does the best and who will be crowned the champion. The show is currently renewed for its first season.
