On February 3, 2023, Modern China Tea Shop announced on the official WeChat WeChat official account that Wuxi will be its second stop in Jiangsu, and the first four stores are expected to open in April. The first batch of stores in Wuxi are expected to sign contracts with Wuxi Coastal City, Wuxi Vientiane City, Wuxi Nanchang Street Shengtangli and Wuxi Joy City. The first store of Modern China Tea Shop in Wuxi is not located in Liangxi District in the city center. All three shopping malls and stores are concentrated in Binhu District. Coastal City and Vientiane City are popular business districts. Jiangnan Joy City is a newly opened shopping mall near Lihu Campus of Jiangnan University. These three stores are far from Wuxi Station and Wuxi East Station.
