Zhongshan College of Dalian Medical University is located in Dalian City, Liaoning Province. It is an independent college jointly organized by Dalian Medical University and Dalian Jinzhenyuan Group.

[1] The college was formerly the branch of Dalian Medical University, which was established in July 1999. After adjustment and evolution, it was renamed Sun Yat-sen College of Dalian Medical University in March 2004.

?[2]?In January 2007, the college was jointly organized by Dalian Medical University and Dalian Jinzhenyuan Group. The three campuses of the college moved to the new campus in the High-tech Park.

?In 2008, the college established the School of Art and Design.

In 2013, the college established the School of Nursing, School of Rehabilitation Engineering, School of Management, and School of Computer and Information Engineering.

?In 2014, the college established the School of Applied Technology.

?In March 2015, the College of Nursing was renamed the School of International Nursing.

In March 2017, the college established the Department of Pharmacy; in April, the School of Computer and Information Engineering was renamed the School of Computer Engineering, and the School of Electronic Information Engineering was established.

?In April 2023, the sponsor of Dalian Medical University Sun Yat-sen College was changed from "Dalian Medical University, Shenyang Railway Bureau" to "Dalian Medical University, Dalian Jinzhenyuan Group Real Estate Development Co., Ltd.".
