Dayi has a national-level scenic spot → Xiling Snow Mountain, as well as the nearby Huashuiwan Hot Spring; a museum town → Anren Ancient Town, which has the Liu family’s landlord’s manor and the largest anti-Japanese-themed private museum in China, the Jianchuan Museum.

Except for Xiling Snow Mountain, these scenic spots are directly accessible by buses, and there are also many direct shuttle buses to Xiling Snow Mountain.
Dayi County is located in the west of Chengdu Plain, 48 kilometers away from Chengdu City.
It is bounded by Chongzhou City in the northeast, Qionglai City in the south, Xinjin County in the southeast, and Lushan County, Baoxing County, and Wenchuan County in the northwest.
