A warm city

This Yuhuan does not refer to a person's name. Although it has the same name as Yang Yuhuan, the Yuhuan in this article is located in Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province. It is located on the golden coastline of the East China Sea and is the second largest island in Zhejiang Province.

Yuhuan has a subtropical monsoon climate and an obvious oceanic climate.

It is characterized by warm and humid weather all year round, distinct four seasons, abundant rainfall, sufficient sunshine, and a long frost-free period.

For me, in addition to family, friendship and endless nostalgia, the most fascinating thing is the nostalgia on the tip of my tongue.

Yuhuan is known as the "Jasper of the East China Sea" due to its green mountains and green waters and rich natural products. It is a good place for leisure and vacation, especially for people who like seafood, beach people, cultural people, and artistic youth.

As a foodie who enjoys everything, I can’t help but go to Yuhuan during the holidays.

Some friends will ask: "How to get to Yuhuan?" You can choose to drive by yourself, or check if your city has a direct bus to Yuhuan. The terminal station of the train trip is currently Wenling Station, and then transfer to Chu

Take the minibus from the door or Yuhuan.

For air travel, you can go to Wenzhou Airport or Taizhou Luqiao Airport and transfer via ferry or minibus.

Taiwanese compatriots have Supor cruises that go directly to Yuhuan.

For me, the easiest way to travel is to travel by train or high-speed rail, and then transfer via minibus.

The travel time of high-speed rail and high-speed train is almost the same, but the problem is the price.

If you take the train, it is best to arrive before 9pm. If you are late, there will be no connecting bus.

In my memory, a classmate who returned to Nanjing once asked: "Do you like to visit the wet market? The wet market is a window where urban culture condenses." I like to go to the wet market, but I don't have much time and frequency to do so.

Don't give a straightforward answer.

I like it or am good at it.

Sometimes I don’t go to the vegetable market for more than half a month, and sometimes I have to visit three Truman vegetable markets with my mother in one day.

Not only did we wander around Hangzhou, we also visited Shitang, Shamen, and Longxi. We even saw delicious food in the corner that attracted our attention.

Not only do I love shopping, but I also love taking photos.

Occasionally, fruit farmers, vegetable farmers, or various vendors who set up stalls said to me: "This is Yuhuan's original alpine vegetables, this is Yuhuan's Guangdong tangerine, this is Yuhuan's special delicacies, etc., what about you?"

Take a photo and post it online for me." We also fulfill our promise with gusto. As a photography-obsessed family, it is also a pleasure to be altruistic.

I have taken a lot of photos without realizing it over the years, and I am always reluctant to delete them, but the memory space on my phone has been filled up.

Even so, you still never leave your phone or camera for photography.

I took photos wherever I went, and I would like to thank my mother who kept me company and my friends who let me go.

I often worry that it would be impolite to take pictures before eating at the dinner table, but the friends have developed a tacit understanding.

Sometimes, before I can go ahead, everyone unanimously asks me to take pictures of the food first.

Although some people were talking about how good it was to take pictures, when one of the friends was about to lift his chopsticks, he gently tapped the chopsticks to stop him and reminded him that there was no photography yet!

Every preference adds a kind of heart-warming warmth because of its thoughtfulness, support and companionship.

Because of humanity, photography has become more interesting and powerful.

There were too many photos, and I deleted them again and again, took them again, took them again and deleted them, but what cannot be erased are those warm and sweet moments and warm friendships.

Animating every moment of feeling into the depths of memory, condensing every moment of time into a microcosm of a square inch.

There are so many interesting places in Yuhuan. Today our focus is on the Yuhuan wet market and the delicious food in rural corners.

They have been collected in photo albums for many years. Let’s take advantage of this event to review them again.

Oncome snails are also a favorite dish of my childhood. When I went to the vegetable market that day, I saw the owner who was very busy and said that they were all booked by people who came back from Hangzhou, so he had no time to be busy.

Oh my god, a sack.

I was so busy that it was useless to talk to me, so I asked me to help take a picture.

On the way back from Baima'ao Beach with her best friend during the National Day that year, she ordered this plate of fried conches.

In my memory, when I was a child, when there were operas in the village, the children always liked to circle around the stage to see what they could find for food. When they had almost used up their pocket money, they went home. There were very few with a steady buttocks.

Sit on a long bench and watch a play.

I have the impression that there is a fried conch dish, which is packaged in a triangle with torn pages from an old book. It is also sold by children. One or two corners can be chewed once.

Xiangsnail is a must-have item at banquets, but its varieties and prices vary.

There are also many varieties of clams and other shellfish. The big ones are hairy clams and the small blood clams are used for tonic.

My mother likes to pick oysters, and I like to pick conches.

The elders are also good at catching small razor clams. Their memories of the tidal flat are like walking barefoot on the ridge of the fields. Going to the paddy fields is afraid of being bitten by locusts. Going to the tidal flat is afraid of dents and being punctured by broken glass. Naturally, they are covered in mud.

This is how razor clams grow!

But I prefer to eat wild razor clams.

Why the water on the east coast doesn't look as blue as you think? They have tidal flats after low tide.

As the saying goes: "If you rely on the mountains, you will eat the mountains; if you rely on the sea, you will eat the sea." On the seaside and in fishing villages, you will see scenes of weaving fishing nets and drying fish.

Although seafood is delicious, it is not easy to come by.
