I'll make an itinerary for you. It's a classic way to play:
1. Kunming Garden Expo is a must-see, but forget about gardening. There is a famous Golden Rooster and Bima archway in Kunming. Take a look there by car. There is really nothing else to see;
2. The Stone Forest is near Kunming. Visitors can take a bus in Kunming and go back and forth on the same day.
3. You can go to the Expo or not, but one program in the evening of the Expo should not be missed: the banquet and song and dance programs hosted by the head of state at the opening of the Expo were completely preserved, called "Jixin Banquet Dance", which was performed every night. Jixin Banquet and Dance covers Yunnan's folk customs, national costumes and representative Yunnan cuisine. Tickets for 18 yuan (the previous price, whether the price has increased or not is unclear) include state banquets and singing and dancing, which is absolutely worth enjoying!
4. After Jixin's banquet and dance, go to the railway station and take the train to Lijiang. There are two full sleeper trains at night, one stop at Lijiang East Station in the morning;
5. Go to Old Town of Lijiang to find a private inn, preferably a courtyard inn run by Naxi people;
6. At night, you must go out to see and play, and have a bonfire in bars and Sifang Street. If you don't like excitement, you can avoid commercial streets and roam leisurely on the streets of residential buildings, which makes people feel quiet and comfortable. You can also go to the river and put a wishing river lantern.
7. Starting from Lijiang during the day, we will go to Shuhe Ancient Town, Yulong Snow Mountain, Lugu Lake and the first bend of the Yangtze River. Shuhe Ancient Town, Yulong Snow Mountain and the first bend of the Yangtze River can go back and forth on the same day, and Lugu Lake needs to stay for one night. You can take a bus or charter a car. Please consult the boss or other tourists at the inn.
8. Going out during the day and still visiting the ancient city at night, many people stay in Old Town of Lijiang for ten days and a half months or even longer, and don't want to go back. There is no place in the ancient city that you must go or have to go. Just be casual, lazy and happy.
9, Dali doesn't have to go. Dali ancient city is not as amorous feelings as Lijiang, and the famous butterfly spring and Tianlong Babu film and television bases will feel boring when they go. It is even more ridiculous to climb Cangshan from the ropeway of Yuantong Temple. If you must go, you can visit Lujia Courtyard, a Bai folk house, in Xizhou Town below go to dali (with folk song and dance performances), and enjoy the Three Pagodas in Dali City outside, without buying tickets.
