The design inspiration of hang lung plaza in Kunming comes from the unique landscape and natural scenery of Yunnan Province, and the historical significance that Kunming has been a prosperous commercial hub of commercial routes since ancient times. The center of the project is a landscape corridor, which reminds people of the lush valleys in this area.

Now, the image here has been repositioned as undulating platforms and cliff-like towers, echoing the neighboring Yunnan Stone Forest. Commercial, office and serviced apartments are intertwined on the multi-storey terrace around the pedestrian street. These connected terraces form rows of shops and restaurants, forming a vibrant space, and the overall effect produced by the interweaving of various formats is far greater than the effect of local simple superposition.

Henglung Plaza

With the slogan of "Bright Kunming, Bright Kunming", hang lung plaza divides the shopping center into four categories: food, famous products, fun and beauty, which correspond to catering, retail, entertainment and beauty respectively.

Inside the mall, the most striking thing is three transparent sightseeing elevators. The wave-like streamlined design makes the straight glass elevator look vivid and natural, at the same time attracts customers' attention and improves the passenger flow of the vertical moving line.

The main hall is wide and pillar-free, with an excellent view and a panoramic view of the six-story business. Terrace treatment is unified at the left escalator, which enhances the visibility of the space, cleverly shields the big columns visually, and seems a bit "soft" in terms of "rules".
