Route arrangement
In the morning,
Area B
It is recommended to enter the park from the gate of Area B, because it is the closest to the first axis and four pavilions, and the entrance to the park from the Expo axis to the end is the celebration square, where there is a grand opening ceremony. After watching it, go to the Expo Center, where the opening ceremony of the National Pavilion Day is held every day. If you are lucky, you can also meet a national leader or a big star.
After seeing the Expo Center, you can go to the theme pavilion, where there are four pavilions, namely, City People Pavilion, Life Pavilion, Earth Pavilion and Public Participation Pavilion. Although these venues are all in one building, they should be lined up separately, so it is unnecessary to waste precious time to visit them first. What I want to tell you here is that, in principle, there are two tour routes for each venue in the park, and the fast track is only for tourists who have a quick look. I suggest you take the slow track in the main venues and self-built pavilions in various countries.
Theme pavilions: You can see the theme pavilions on the left soon after walking along the Expo axis (to the end is the celebration square), including the City People Pavilion, the City Life Pavilion and the City Planet Pavilion.
City People's Pavilion: It tells the story of people in the city. The Sunshine Pavilion of Life in the City People's Pavilion is worth seeing. It is the first disabled pavilion in the history of the World Expo, and volunteers and commentators are all disabled.
City Life Pavilion: tells the life journey of the city, in which the LCD monitors of five kiosks roll out real-time information about flights, trains, stocks, foreign exchange and so on around the world.
Urban Earth Pavilion: It tells about the ecological problems caused by the over-development of the city. There is an earth under an overpass. If you continue to visit, you will find that there is a large-scale dome cinema in the earth.
New Zealand Pavilion: After seeing the theme pavilion, walk north along Expo Pavilion Road, and you will see the New Zealand Pavilion as soon as you get to Bocheng Road. Before you enter the pavilion, there will be a warm Maori dance performance to welcome you. The biggest attraction here is the amazing New Zealand scenery created by the special effects team in The Lord of the Rings with image technology, which makes people immersive.
Australia Pavilion: Go west after leaving the New Zealand Pavilion, and you will see the Australia Pavilion. The "Travel" activity area here has a totally enclosed glass passage of 161 meters around the exhibition hall to show visitors the history of Australia. There are also a wealth of art group performances.
Thailand Pavilion: Walking south from the Australia Pavilion is the Thailand Pavilion, which is easy to find because of its rich Thai flavor. There is a mascot named "Artest" in it, and you can take photos with it as a souvenir.
Other pavilions in Zone B include: Malaysia Pavilion, Singapore Pavilion, Cambodia Pavilion, Philippines Pavilion, Brunei Pavilion, Indonesia Pavilion, etc. to the south of Bocheng Road. North of Bocheng Road, there are World Meteorological Pavilion, Pacific Joint Pavilion, United Nations Joint Pavilion, Red Cross and Red Crescent Joint Pavilion and International Information Development Network Pavilion. If time permits, you can go there again.
Lunch
After visiting these venues, my stomach must be growling. When you walk along the Expo Pavilion Road to the Expo Avenue, you will find a Chinese food street between the Expo Center and the theme pavilion, where there are delicious foods from all over the country, and there are eight Chinese cuisines.
In the afternoon
Area A
After lunch, you can go to the Expo Cultural Center to watch the performance. The Cultural Center is located in the northeast of the Expo Center. The Oriental Song and Dance Troupe has two free performances in the Performing Arts Center every day. Before you go, check the time to decide your itinerary. Watching the performances of the Expo Cultural Center depends on the performance time. Like the China Pavilion, these places belong to the "must-see spots" in the Expo Park.
China Pavilion: After enough rest, you can visit the China Pavilion, the "crown of the East". Note that the China Pavilion is permanent. Visitors who are interested in visiting again in the future can choose to skip the China Pavilion, which can save a lot of time to visit other venues.
after entering the museum, visitors can take the elevator to the 49-meter floor first. There are several bright spots there. First, there is a circle of tempered glass floor like the Oriental Pearl, and the waiting square is at the foot, which makes you realize what it means to be cold at the top. The second is The Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival, which is more than 111 meters wide, and the people inside can still walk. Third, the film directed by Lu Chuan-The Course of Beauty, the main exhibition film of China Pavilion of Shanghai World Expo.
after 49 meters, you can go to the 41-meter floor. It's a long line to visit here by rail tour bus, but it's worth a try and will have a special experience. The 33m floor introduces the low-carbon city of China in the future, and see what kind of environment you will live in in the future.
Local Pavilion: You can visit it if you have time. All provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities have 611 square meters of space with their own characteristics. If you're not interested, it doesn't hurt to browse. There are three pavilions: Taiwan Province Pavilion, Macau Pavilion and Hong Kong Pavilion. LED dome sky lanterns, lying on the ground watching movies on the ceiling, glass exterior walls and mirror reflection design are the biggest features of the three pavilions.
There are several suggested pavilions near the Four Pavilions of Axis I, and the Asia Pavilion and the United Arab Emirates Pavilion are located eastward, and the Japan Pavilion and the Korea Pavilion are just a short walk away. Don't miss these pavilions. Going west, don't miss the Australia Pavilion. On the right-hand side of Australia, the circular music box-like building is the Singapore Pavilion. The venue is small, with a garden on the top floor for rest and a music fountain in the square. Next to Singapore Pavilion is Malaysia Pavilion, a typical building in Southeast Asia, with a stage to watch the performance, which is a dance of 47 ethnic groups in Malaysia. After reading it, I went to the New Zealand Pavilion, and I could see the Maori dance performance before I entered the pavilion. When you go in, you will be attracted by the beautiful New Zealand scenery, because the special effects of the venue are made by the special effects team in The Lord of the Rings, and you are there. Go out of the New Zealand Pavilion and look for a building with a lot of bamboo coming out of the roof, that is, the Indonesia Pavilion. There is a Cambodia Pavilion from the New Zealand Pavilion to the Indonesia Pavilion. Because it is a rental pavilion, you can watch it or not. In fact, the Indonesia Pavilion only needs to take photos. After visiting Indonesia Pavilion, you can go to the International Organization Joint Pavilion, Brunei Pavilion and Philippine Pavilion.
UAE Pavilion: After leaving Hong Kong Pavilion, walk northeast along Guozhan Road, and suddenly a undulating sand dune appears in front of you. This is the UAE Pavilion. It is said that this pavilion will be demolished and transported back to Abu Dhabi to be rebuilt after the Expo. Someone in the museum leads a virtual dream trip to the United Arab Emirates and overlooks the beautiful scenery of the Middle East. Don't forget to take part in the lucky draw here to make your dream come true. The grand prize is a one-week trip to the United Arab Emirates.
Israel Pavilion: Right next to the UAE Pavilion, there are all kinds of high technologies here. It is not unusual to extract diesel oil from plants and install smart shoes for cows to get a glimpse of it. The most wonderful thing is that you can swallow a photographic capsule and take various photos of internal organs to complete a painless physical examination.
Saudi Pavilion: Located in the north of Israel Pavilion, it is the largest foreign pavilion with a cost of RMB 1.3 billion. There is the world's largest IMAX3D cinema in the Saudi Pavilion, with a screen of 1,611 square meters all around. How shocking it would be to show Avatar.
Japan Pavilion: Coming out of the Saudi Pavilion and heading northeast is the Japan Pavilion, which looks like the robotech in the cartoon. The high-tech life inside is the highlight, including a universal camera with high definition and telescopic function and a robot that can play the violin.
