The three specialties in this area are tea, coconut and rubber.

1. Tea: Tea cultivation in Sri Lanka has a long history, mainly producing black tea, which is regarded as the cleanest tea in the world with excellent quality. "Ceylon Black Tea" is the country's main export product.

2. Coconut: Coconut is planted in the low-lying coastal areas around Sri Lanka Island, and coconut oil is an important export product of Sri Lanka.

3. Rubber: Rubber is planted in the high-lying area west of the central part of the island and is an important export product of Sri Lanka.
