However, due to the special timetable of the small train, it is best to take the train from Chengdu to Qianwei and stay in Qianwei at night. You can also take a look at the small town style, the Confucian Temple, and taste the delicious food of Leshan.

Jiayang-Jianwei-Chengdu Take a bus to Mitsui (Jiayang Group Mining Area), buy a train ticket at 10:30 in the morning, and take the train to Bagou (Bajiaogou).

Have lunch at Bajiaogou. I recommend Dongfanghong Restaurant. Don’t go to that restaurant called Caigenxiang. The price is more expensive and the portion is small.

After eating, I looked around, such as the former Jiayang Coal Mine headquarters, cinema (theater), stage, European-style buildings, stilted buildings, small attic windows, and parks.

Buying local products especially fruits is not recommended.

Because they are all brought in from outside, the prices are relatively expensive and they are not specialty products.

After completing the tour, it is recommended to ask for directions, climb up from what the locals call "Grave Mountain" (there are many densely packed graves on it), and then drill a tunnel to reach Jiaoba Station.

If you like bacon, you can buy it at a small barber shop opposite the station. I personally recommend liver. You can cook it and eat it. It tastes good!

Take the small train back to Shibanxi at 3:30 pm, then return to Qianwei, and take the bus back to Chengdu.

I strongly decided to take the 2 yuan ferry to Sun Island the next day to see the Giant Buddha. It is economical and very clear without having to buy a ticket. It is so big. I believe that if you get closer, you will be blind and touching the elephant.

Jiayang Small Train Sightseeing Train (new sightseeing bus), the fare is 50 yuan/person for round trip and 30 yuan/person for one way.

The main difference from ordinary passenger trains is that they stop for performances at scenic spots to allow tourists to sightsee. Ordinary normal passenger trains do not stop for sightseeing on the way, but only pick up and unload passengers at the stations. There are 4 trains a day, with departure times at 6:00, 9:30, and 14

The one-way fare is: 5 yuan/person for a seated ticket and 3 yuan/person for a standing ticket.

Because it is a transportation bus, round-trip tickets are not sold. The only way is to take the new sightseeing bus with the additional ticket. The fare is 30 yuan/person for round-trip and 20 yuan/person for one-way.

If there is no tourist carriage attached, tourists can take the work carriage (with a sign). The fare is 20 yuan/person for a round trip and 15 yuan/person for a one-way trip.

Jiayang Small Train departs 4 times a day: 6:00, 09:30, 14:00, 17:30; the running time from the starting station to Yuejin Station is 15 minutes, and the whole round trip takes about two and a half hours.

It is recommended to take the direct bus from Chengdu, Leshan or Qianwei to Jiayang.

During the Golden Week, additional tourist trains will be issued at 10:00 and 14:30. The tourist trains provide services such as parking at scenic spots, sightseeing, and explanations. The round-trip operation takes about 3 hours.
