Jinji Town
Jinji Town is located in the east of Luoding City, adjacent to Yun'an County in the east, Yangchun City in the south, Langtang Town in the southwest, and Pingtang Town in the northwest. National Highway 324 Line highways, Yunfu Dahuanshi Road, and Luoding local railways run through its territory, providing convenient transportation. The total area under the jurisdiction of Jinji Town is 90.4 square kilometers. It is located in the limestone area of ??the remaining veins of Yunwu Mountain. It has a karst landform and is rich in resources such as limestone and marble. It has specialties such as gecko snakes, stone frogs, Dadong yuba, and golden chicken hemp species. Jinji Town has jurisdiction over 10 village committees including Shilong, Dagang, Luoguan, Xi'an, Hongtang, Pingtang, Miaogang, Dadong, Huilong and Lidong, as well as the Jinji Community Neighborhood Committee. Due to the adjustment of the industrial structure in 2008, the cultivation of pepper padi has reached a certain scale, with a planting area of ??about 1,000 acres, an annual output of about 1,550 tons, and an annual output value of about 6.2 million yuan. It is the largest pepper padi production base in Yunfu City. Pig breeding is also developing rapidly. In 2007, there were about 2,500 sows and 14,000 pigs for slaughter (including more than 500 sows in Hengdali Farm, with an annual birth of more than 10,000 piglets). It is the leader of pig breeding in Luoding City. One of several size towns. Jinji Town has formed two major agricultural pillar industries: pepper padi cultivation and pig breeding.
Jinji Town is rich in limestone resources. The 404 and 405 marbles produced in Jinji Town were awarded the title of National Excellent Product in the 1990s. In 2008, Jinji Town took advantage of abundant stone resources and good quality to increase the development and utilization of limestone resources and increase investment attraction. In 2007, Jinji Town introduced 12 enterprises that use limestone as raw materials, with a total project investment of 92 million yuan, of which Huayuan Calcium Industry Co., Ltd. planned to invest 30 million yuan, and was listed as a key project in Luoding City in 2007. Now the infrastructure work of the plant has been completed and equipment installation and commissioning is currently underway. In 2008, Jinji Town successfully introduced two relatively large enterprises. Among them, Shaoming Chemical Co., Ltd. planned to invest 68 million yuan and was listed as a key project in Yunfu City in 2008. Two other projects are under negotiation. So far, there are 92 industrial enterprises in Jinji Town, mainly cement plants, compound powder plants, and calcium carbonate plants.
In 2007, the GDP of Jinji Town was 134.07 million yuan. Among them, the gross agricultural production value is 106.6 million yuan, the gross industrial production value is 19.13 million yuan, and the per capita income of Jinji Town is 4,401 yuan. The fiscal and taxation treasury of 2.03 million yuan (part of the local treasury) was completed throughout the year, an increase of 120% compared with 2006, and it won the first prize for Luoding City’s fiscal and taxation work in 2007. From January to July 2008, the fiscal and tax revenue was 1.27 million yuan, an increase of 47.7% compared with 2007.
In 2007, a 110KV dedicated industrial power line was added. The Jinchong Line leading to Line 324 and the Jinlang Line cement roads leading to Langtang Town have been open to traffic for many years. The cement roads leading to various villages were also fully opened to traffic in 2007. In 2008, the Jinfu Line connecting Fulin Town, Yun'an County was also opened to traffic. The cement road has been hardened. Jinji Town has built 10 ecological civilization villages and 6 are under construction. The town's new water plant has been approved as a project, with a planned daily water production capacity of 3,000 tons, supplying 15,000 people to the five village committees in the town.
