Imperial Kiln Factory is a royal kiln factory specialized in making palace porcelain in Ming and Qing Dynasties. It is a state-owned porcelain factory with the longest firing time, the largest scale and the most exquisite technology in China.
The underground remains of this site are extremely rich, including Yuan Dynasty official kiln porcelain and a large number of Ming Dynasty vessels such as Hongwu, Yongle, Xuande, Orthodox, Chenghua, Hongzhi and Zhengde, which are of great significance to the study of the development history of China ceramics. Imperial kiln porcelain has been burned for the royal family for more than 700 years, and most of the precious imperial kiln porcelain handed down from generation to generation are now collected in Beijing, the National Palace Museum in Taipei and major museums around the world.
