Yongningwei - The feeling in my heart is hard to calm down

I came to Yongningwei on September 25th. It was already past six o'clock when I arrived at the youth hostel. I packed up my room and luggage a little before getting ready to go out. Unexpectedly, the owner of the youth hostel, A Bin, was very enthusiastic and took me in without bothering.

Sent to a place to eat.

Along the way, he told me about the slowness of Yongningwei, the quietness of Yongningwei, and the simple folk customs of Yongningwei.

He was the first person I met when I first arrived at Yongningwei. Because of his enthusiasm and sincerity, my first impression of Yongningwei was very good.

As soon as I walked out of the shop after eating, a light rain began to fall in Yongningwei. I was soaked in the rain and walked into the alley, feeling the ancient streets that were sparsely populated at eight o'clock. I walked and stopped, and I felt like I had something in my heart.

There are many things I want to say to these ancient buildings that have been standing for a hundred years or more. I want them to use their experience of surviving in this world for so many years to tell me what is right, what is wrong, and how to avoid being bored and miserable.

Wander.

But I didn't ask. Of course, they have been quietly accompanying me, accompanying me in my thoughts in this quiet moment with no one around... The ancient streets and alleys are quiet and distant, and there is a lot of excitement in front of the City God's Temple.

Each has its own logic of life and its own unspeakable secrets.

I walked along the direction of the City God's Temple to the foot of the ancient city wall. Since there were no commercial projects near the ancient city wall, there were not many people here.

I picked a relatively flat piece of land and sat on the ground facing the ancient city wall. I looked at the majestic city wall standing in front of me and felt the harshness and ferocity of the past.

Back at the youth hostel, I took a shower and made tea in the yard.

I chatted with Xiao Huang, and she asked me how I felt about coming to Yongningwei. I told her: Yongningwei is a place I have never met before. I like the architectural form, historical background, and food culture here.

of.

As for A Bin, he was like a friend whom I fell in love with at first sight. It felt like we had played football together for several years.

In fact, when I said these words, I was quite sincere, but I don't know how I made her laugh.

After a while, A Bin and Li Xia's godfather came back. There were two cats in the yard now. The older one was called Li Xia and the younger one was called Sister.

Xiao Ma, who had been working all the time, was also called over by A Bin, and everyone kept chatting.

Li Xia's godfather is from Zhao'an. He is humorous, easy-going, and very comfortable to get along with.

I felt that he had an unusual amount of affection for this youth hostel. I drank tea with him all night. He was a free and uninhibited civil servant.

Xiao Ma is from Shantou. She is elegant, graceful and smart, and often sparkles with witty words. Judging from the drum she plays in the youth hostel, she should be a person who is curious about new things.

A brave and confident freelancer.

Xiao Huang is also from Cantonese. I didn’t ask where he came from, and it doesn’t matter.

She is a person who loves life. She runs the Yongning Wei Youth Hostel with A Bin. She is optimistic and enthusiastic, and has an unusual persistence in old things and plants. Xiao Ma also teased her and said: The door of this house is always open among the antiques.

A Bin, a kind and sincere youth hostel owner, a person who can close the distance between people with just one move or two words.

He is the most sincere youth hostel owner I have ever met, and I have always believed that the most important thing in dealing with people is sincerity.

That night, we chatted until after twelve o'clock before we ended. In this quiet ancient acropolis, there were several different souls colliding with each other, each letting go of everything and laughing, which was very rare.

The richness of the journey, apart from the cultural scenery, is the people you meet. I am lucky to meet so many people with whom I can chat for a while.

I got up at my usual work time and went to eat the noodle paste in Weicheng. It was amazing. The price was so reasonable.

So much so that I really wanted to slap myself on the head twice. I used to go downtown and eat some kind of hammer noodle paste.

After breakfast, I followed the route on the map to Guanyin Mountain.

I wanted to experience the local customs along the way, but unfortunately this is a tourist road and there are no residential areas along the way.

I just walked on the road with old people building green belts along the road until I reached Guanyin Mountain.

Guanyin Mountain is a beach that does not require climbing. I was quite puzzled as to why this beach is called Guanyin Mountain. After searching on Baidu, it turns out that there is a stone resembling the Guanyin Buddha statue in the stone on the east side of the mountain, hence the name.

Guanyin Mountain.

The sea breeze here is very strong, so strong that sea sand flies all over the sky, and the weeds are so strong that they fall in the direction of the wind. Even I sometimes move a few steps involuntarily.

The waves today are very big and fast, and one wave after another seems to swallow up the rocks on the seaside.

I was there, quietly watching the waves and boulders hitting the water splashes scattered all around, watching the anchored fishing boat constantly rocking, and watching the sea breeze carrying a few water droplets flying towards me.

Next to Guanyinshan Beach, there is a small village called Shadi Village.

My impression of this place is that except for the seafood drying everywhere and a few rooftops overlooking the sea, it is quiet. How quiet can it be?

There is only the sound of the sea breeze.

After leaving Guanyin Mountain, I returned the same way and visited Luojia Temple on the way back.

Luojia Temple is a temple built by the sea. In fact, for Quanzhou, a religious holy place, temples can be found everywhere, but Luojia Temple is very special. It is located in a corner of the sea, quietly guarding the beach and the surrounding area.

The villagers who work this way, and the inscriptions on the temple gate and the gates of each palace further show the joyful grudges and chivalrous spirit of the ancient Acropolis.
