In ancient times, it was said that immortals abandoned mountains. Located in the city center on the south bank of Liujiang River, echoing the east and west of Yufeng Mountain, it is one of the highest peaks in downtown Liuzhou, with an altitude of 270 meters. Rocky Mountain is named for its ancient beauty and saddle shape. In the morning fog, it seems to be flying to the horse called Pegasus. It has been transformed into Maanshan Park, which is open to tourists. From the foot of the mountain to the top of the mountain along the stone path, you can have a panoramic view of Liuzhou.
According to legend, Tie Guai Li and Lv Dongbin, two immortals of the Eight Immortals, once played chess in Ma 'anshan. Up to now, there are immortal footprints, chessboard stones and immortal caves more than a foot long on the mountain. There are holes in the mountains, holes in the holes, screens and rooms, and stalactites form various pictures, which are very beautiful. Since the Tang Dynasty, it has become a tourist attraction, with more than 65,438+000 stone carvings in the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties. The earliest title of Zhu Shihui was in the second year of the Northern Song Dynasty (65,438+065,438+02), and that of Qiu Yun was in the first year of Jingkang (65,438+065,438+026). Looking at the top of the mountain, the peaks are stacked under your feet, and the birds pass by, but you can see its back, Liujiang jade belt and splendid rivers and mountains.
Maanshan is one of the eight ancient scenic spots in Liuzhou, and it is the best place for tourists to explore the summit. Up to now, dozens of poems written by famous tourists in Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties have been preserved in the cave cliff stone carvings on the mountain.
