What city legends do you know about Hefei?
In order to relieve her mother's pain, Sanxiaokou took turns to draw thick blood from her mouth and sought medical advice everywhere. However, the disease was incurable at that time and could not be cured. The third son entered the temple to burn incense and worship Buddha, and happened to meet a fortune teller. Knowing that the disease could not be cured, the husband comforted him and said, "If you want to cure your mother's disease, you must supplement it with human broth." This is an excuse, and the three sons really believed it, and each cut a piece of meat on his leg and cooked it into soup, and fed it to his mother. I tried my best, but I couldn't save my mother's life. After the death of the old man, the third son wept bitterly, sold his property, bought a coffin and took care of his mother's affairs. Knowing that there was a fire that night, the fire was getting bigger and bigger. In order to protect the coffin of the old mother, the third son actually fell on the coffin and vowed to live and die with the coffin. After the fire, the house in a street was burned to ashes, all three sons died, and the old mother's coffin was as good as ever. About this touching story, it was recorded in "The Records of the County of Hefei and People's Records" in the eighth year of Jiaqing in the Qing Dynasty: "Zhang Mei, Zhang Yu and Zhang Song were buried together in the house, and the coffin could not be moved because of a fire nearby. The three men dared not lie on the coffin and vowed to burn them together. All three people are dead and the coffin is intact. " In order to commemorate the story of these three filial sons, people later called the middle section of the Yangtze River from Jinzhai Road to Huancheng West Road Sanxiaozi Street, and the intersection of Changjiang Road and Jinzhai Road was customarily called Sanxiaokou.
