From October 17th to 25th, 2009, the 2009 Nanning Southeast Asia International Tourism Food Festival will be held at Nanning Qingxiu Mountain Southeast Asia Food City.

The food festival venue is divided into four major exhibition areas, including Southeast Asian specialty food area, Guangxi local specialty food area, ethnic specialty food area, and Taiwan specialty food area. The booths in each exhibition area are colored in four colors: light yellow, light green, red, and light blue.

Colors are distinguished.

The left and right sides of the entrance to the venue are the Southeast Asian specialty food area and the Taiwanese specialty food area.

At this food festival, citizens can enjoy authentic Taiwanese snacks without leaving Nanning.

In order to make the activities of the 2009 Nanning Southeast Asia Tourism and Food Festival more exciting, this tourism and food festival will hold the 2009 Guangxi New Chef Competition on the main stage at the same time.

This new chef competition is divided into two categories: red table and carving. New chefs from 8 schools and units will determine the ranking of this competition in 5 days.

In order to make it more convenient for citizens and tourists to participate in the 2009 Nanning Southeast Asia Tourism and Food Festival, after consultation between the organizing committee and the bus company, four bus lines will be opened during the food festival: two free bus lines and two paid lines.

Two free lines run from Chaoyang Plaza and Dashatin to Qingxiu Mountain Southeast Asia Food City.
