2. Realgar wine

It is said that after Qu Yuan threw himself into the river, people in Qu Yuan's hometown threw rice dumplings and salted eggs into the river one after another in order to prevent the dragon from eating Qu Yuan's body. An old doctor took a jar of realgar wine and poured it into the river, saying it could stun the dragon and protect Qu Yuan. After a while, a dragon really floated on the water.
So people pulled the dragon ashore, pulled its tendons, peeled its skin, and then wrapped the dragon's tendons around the children's wrists and necks, and then rubbed realgar wine on the seven orifices, thinking that this would be enough. Keep children safe from insects and snakes.

3. Five yellows
There is a custom of eating "five yellows" during the Dragon Boat Festival among the folk in Jiangnan, China. "Five Yellows" refers to eel, yellow croaker, cucumber, salted duck egg yolk and realgar wine. There are also other opinions that salted duck eggs can be replaced with soybeans. ?

According to folklore, eating Wuhuang at noon can better drive away toxins and avoid evil spirits.
4. Da Gao
The Da Gao (獍粑) of the Han, Buyi, Tujia and other ethnic groups in southern China is made from steamed and pounded glutinous rice. There are various kinds of food, some with fillings and some without fillings, and because of the different popular regions, they naturally have local characteristics, and the ways of eating them are also diverse.
