The Citizen Park is still under planning. It is located on the northwest side of Qijing Town and is not within the current urban area. It is between the so-called North Group and South Group of Maoming New Town, and is under construction. The Citizen Avenue is very close, so it will be more convenient to drive there in the future. The plan is to build around the Civic Center and Sports Center under construction. This project was selected as the seventh of the top ten people's livelihood issues in 2011. It is estimated that construction can start this year.
