You can book rooms online. There are four tourist attractions in Gulangyu: Sunlight Rock, Xinzhuang Garden, Haoyue Garden and Piano Museum. The pass is 81, but it is said that the price will increase to 151 after July. The island's specialty snacks are Longtou Road Fish Pills (12 in the big bowl and 6 6 yuan in the small bowl); Ye's hemp has 1 1 yuan; Huang Shengji's pies and meat floss. There are also characteristic buildings and small shops on the street. Hand-painted maps of Gulangyu Island can be sold everywhere as long as they are on the island, so the tour guides who attract customers on the street can ignore them, and those who help people take photos and plastic on the street can ignore them, which are very expensive. It is recommended to stay in Gulangyu for 2 days. There is a 24-storey Pizza Hut on the ferry opposite Gulangyu Island, where you can take a panoramic view of Gulangyu Island.

Huandao Road-Xiamen University-Nanputuo Temple is a line, and there are no tickets for these three places. On the road around the island, you can see the Golden Gate Island on the other side of the sea. You can also rent a bicycle for two/three/four people (remember to bring your ID card as collateral when renting a car). If you are lucky, you can see the leaping white dolphins at sea. Xiamen University is recognized as the most beautiful university. There is a visiting registration at the gate, but basically it is nobody's business to go directly in. Xiamen University is close to the sea, so you can visit Baicheng Beach nearby. Nanputuo is free of tickets and incense money. Although there are not many monks who cheat money in other places, there will still be things like bracelets for you. Don't take them. You will have to pay if you take them. A bracelet worth only 2 yuan will cost you more than 21 yuan.

You can go for a walk on Zhongshan Road in the evening. Peanut soup, fried spring rolls, fried oysters, leek boxes (different from traditional leek boxes) and Satay Noodles in Huang Ze are all very special foods, and you can eat well for less than 31 yuan. Eight mothers-in-law burning grass is also a feature. In my impression, it is 6 pieces and 1 cups, and there are large pieces of jelly in it, which is cool and reduces fire. Many tourists just play in the scenic spots at the foot of the mountain, but as a local, it is suggested that if you want to go, you'd better climb to the top of the mountain, overlooking the whole of Xiamen and being worthy of expensive tickets. From the other side of the mountain, you can go directly down to Nanputuo mentioned above (there is no doubt that Xiamen is really so small).

Bailuzhou Park is also free of charge. There are many cafes with good scenery, and egrets often fly near the Millennium Statue, which is very suitable for taking pictures. At night, there is a music fountain, where locals like to enjoy the cool.

These are just my personal recommendations. Besides, there are many beautiful and romantic places. It is best to enjoy them carefully if you have time. As for the diet, snacks are the main food here, and the taste is sweet. Whether it is delicious or not depends on whether the personal taste can be used to it. If you have seafood, you can eat the most authentic and freshest seafood at more than 111 roadside food stalls (this is under the premise of being led by locals, many foreign guests will be slaughtered in such places).
