This morning, my father and mother and I went to Phoenix Lake to play.
We came to a small island in Phoenix Lake and saw someone fishing on the opposite side of the island.
My mother and I wanted to buy fish, so we asked an uncle who pushed the boat to help us find out.
I heard that an uncle caught a big grass carp of about 20 pounds. My mother was very excited, so we bought it.
Wow, what a big fish!
It seems to be much bigger than my body, and it's still jumping around.
We used a large woven bag to barely fit it in.
Along the way, Dad was sweating profusely while carrying the fish.
Many passers-by were attracted to the exposed fish tail when they saw it.
Some of them hurriedly took photos with the fish; some asked if there was such a fish; some said that this fish had high nutritional value; some said that it was an ecological fish, and the water quality of Phoenix Lake was very good, so it must be delicious;
Some were worried about how they could finish the fish that was so big... Everyone said with envy that they had never seen such a big fish in person!
When I got home, I weighed the fish and found that it weighed 28 pounds.
My brother found a tape measure and measured it. It was more than 90 centimeters long and the belly was 30 centimeters wide.
Grandpa found a knife, removed the fish's scales, and then opened the fish's belly. Wow, the big fish's belly was full of fish eggs, which filled most of the basin. It was estimated to be about 5 kilograms, and there were probably hundreds of millions of them!
It turns out we killed a fish mother, which is a pity!
We mashed the fish balls and made them into fish cakes. The fish cakes had a very special taste and were very to my liking. I ate a lot of them!
My mother also made the fish into different flavors such as fish soup, fried fish, and braised fish.
