Jin Tiemu, a famous director of historical drama, created another six-episode documentary film Daming Palace after the epic film Yuanmingyuan. Taking Daming Palace, the power center of the Tang Dynasty, as the carrier, this paper tells the 311-year history of the rise and fall of the Tang Dynasty, and through the fate of Daming Palace, discusses the background of the birth of the Tang Dynasty's prosperous times and reveals the historical roots of the decline and collapse of the Tang Dynasty.
