Xingcheng travel guide (latest 2010-8)?

The deeper the love, the deeper the worries - Xingcheng Travel Guide Xingcheng is a very desirable place for three main reasons: First, it is relatively close to Beijing, about 378 kilometers away, and it only takes a train prefixed with D.

It takes more than 2 hours to get there; secondly, the sea is very pure. After all, it is not like Beidaihe. People are afraid of being famous and pigs are afraid of being strong. If more people go there, the pollution will be serious. Not many people know and understand Xingcheng. It is basically like

A lady; thirdly, the island in Xingcheng is so beautiful. Juhua Island, about 20 kilometers away from Xingcheng, is said to be about the same size as Macau, with clean sea water and fine beaches. It is worth a visit.

As the saying goes: "Hearing is false, seeing is true."

I read countless posts and guides on the Internet and was a bit dazzled, so I finally decided to take a look for myself.

Below, I will describe in detail what I saw and heard during my five days in Xingcheng, hoping to bring some help to brothers and sisters who want to go to Xingcheng.

Due to limited time, I will mainly make an evaluation from the four aspects of "playing, eating, housing and transportation", trying to be objective and fair without adding too much personal emotion.

1. The 2589 train we took in Xingcheng departed from Beijing at 11:36 in the morning and arrived at Xingcheng at 19:10 in the evening. It was half an hour late and took more than 7 hours of "old cow pulling a broken train"

.

I was very anxious after getting off the bus. I didn’t know if the “Guanglai Hotel” where I was staying had any rooms, so I hurriedly took a taxi to the hotel. It only cost 10 yuan from the train station to the “Guanglai Hotel”, which was indeed much cheaper than in Beijing.

When I arrived at the Guanglai Hotel, I realized that my worries were not unnecessary. I was told that the room I had reserved via phone yesterday had been booked first.

Although they were very angry, they were still a little helpless. The family of three didn't know what to do.

Contact "Shuili Hotel" immediately, there is no room.

I was extremely depressed, and I was also very angry with the waiter at the "Guanglai Hotel".

At this time, the hotel owner arranged for a staff member (probably his son) to drive us to the "Labor Bureau Hotel" in a Honda car to see if there were any rooms.

Fortunately, I got a standard room for 100 yuan.

My first impression of Xingcheng people turned from bad to good. They are indeed relatively simple, enthusiastic and responsible.

After everything was arranged, it was already 20:00, and I was hungry.

I asked the front desk clerk about the local specialties.

The young man's name is Xiao Guo (0429-5168111). He is 20 years old. He is very enthusiastic and a little shy.

The introduction said that there are two "spring cake shops" on the right when you go out.

I hurriedly followed the direction pointed by him, and when I arrived at a store, I saw that the decoration was poor and the hygiene was average.

Think about it as a small county town, don't embarrass others too much, compare it with your hometown, it's not bad.

So the three of them entered the restaurant and found a so-called private room to sit down.

The waiter came over and introduced them to "spring pancakes rolled with shredded pork in Beijing sauce, rolled mung bean sprouts, and rolled bacon", so he asked for one each.

It turns out that what the locals call spring pancakes are similar to Peking duck pancakes, except they are larger and more affordable.

After the dishes were served, the three of them feasted.

It does taste good, very delicious.

Finally, the waiter recommended the Wenha Tofu Soup, which was absolutely delicious. It was cooked with local old tofu and Wenha from the sea. It was so delicious and beautiful that words cannot describe it.

The final calculation is 87 yuan, which is really cheap and affordable.

Considering that I had to go on a long trip to Juhua Island the next day, I decided to go to bed early and get up early, and spend the night without talking.

The next day, at dawn, I went to the street to find breakfast.

Walking about 100 meters to the right, I saw a restaurant called "Shuaifu Soy Milk" across the road. It was a large store and served breakfast.

When I entered the room, I saw that there were quite a lot of people. I ordered 3 fried dough sticks and 3 bowls of the store’s specialty soy milk.

It's really good, the fried dough sticks are crispy (2 yuan a piece) and the soy milk is fragrant (2 yuan a bowl). It cost 12 yuan and it was already a good meal.

After breakfast, considering that the ferry to Juhua Island was still early, we decided to visit the ancient city.

The ancient city is indeed very "ancient". Many square bricks on the city walls have been eroded by the sea wind, and the stones under the city gates have been stepped on and become uneven.

The whole city is square, with the "Bell and Drum Tower" in the center.

The pass is 50 yuan, which feels a bit expensive.

If compared with the Summer Palace in Beijing, it is only worth 30 yuan.

The streets that run from north to south of the ancient city are lined with small shops selling small commodities and seafood, and are bustling with traffic.

It is the local people who deserve praise. There is an old man in his fifties or sixties who sells hairy crabs. Hearing that children like crabs, he gave a crab to his children without hesitation.

You know, the local area is not developed. A pound of crabs is 18 yuan. The crabs given by the old man are at least 2 taels. The local simple and enthusiastic folk customs are evident! After visiting the ancient city, I hurried back to the hotel to pack my luggage, check out, and take a taxi.

Get ready to take the ferry to Juhua Island.

It costs 15 yuan to take a taxi from the Labor Bureau Hotel to the pier. The distance is more than 10 kilometers by visual inspection. It is indeed not expensive.

The ferry is a bit dark. It is only about 20 kilometers from Xingcheng to Juhua Island, and the round-trip ticket is 90 yuan per person.

If you add a few attractions, the pass will cost you more than 140 yuan.

Thinking about the caves and beaches on the island that can be seen all over the country, I decided to only buy ferry tickets and not visit the scenic spots, and become a true sea-watcher and sea-swam person! Comprehensive evaluation: As the saying goes, "

The weather is not as good as the right place, and the right place is not as good as the people."

Traveling to Xingcheng is in late August. Compared with Beijing, it is much cooler and quieter, which accounts for the good weather;
