Steamed buns originated from soup-filling buns in Kaifeng in the Northern Song Dynasty, and moved to Lin 'an (Hangzhou) as the Northern Song Dynasty moved south, where they took root and flourished. An authentic Hangzhou small cage must be thin and stuffed, fresh and juicy, with endless aftertaste. Don't rush to enjoy the food, be careful of the soup in the steamed stuffed bun, and it is better to pour some vinegar mixed with some Chili oil because of people!
