What are the most classic travel tips for the Western Sichuan Loop?
Western Sichuan is a magical and beautiful place. Here you can feel the beauty of ice and snow, and you can also see alpine meadows, golden mountains and herds of cattle and sheep. It is very beautiful.
The first route I personally recommend is starting from Seda and going all the way to Xinduqiao.
The entire route is about 360km, and the journey is expected to take about seven hours.
Along the way we will pass Luhuo, Bamei and Tagong grasslands.
This route is more suitable for driving in early winter. It starts from Seda County very early in the morning. On the road, we can see some snow.
Not long after driving, we can see the ruins of Nibendaya Palace next to National Highway 548, which is located in Huoxi Township of Seda.
After driving for a while, we can come to another world. There is no snow here, but there are many Tibetan houses. This is Luhuo County, located in Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan, which was an old revolutionary base area.
Here we can feel the local customs very well. When we finally arrived at Tagong Grassland, we could see the Yala Snow Mountain in the distance.
The scenery is very majestic and magnificent, it can be said to be the Golden Mountain of Rizhao.
Of course, in addition to this relatively niche route, we can also choose the classic Daocheng-Yading route.
Daocheng Yading is really a must-visit place in western Sichuan. There are grasslands, mountains, and many cattle and sheep.
For the specific driving route, we can start from Chengdu on the first day and drive to Hailuogou.
Then we stopped and played in Hailuogou for one day and then went to Aden Scenic Area for two days.
When in the Aden Scenic Area, be sure to visit Chonggu Temple and Pearl Sea.
After that, we can start from Daocheng and drive in the direction of Seda.
Finally we went to Guanyin Bridge and then back to Chengdu.
On the way from Hailuogou to Xinduqiao, we can see the Gongga Snow Mountain in the distance and even hike the glaciers of Hailuogou.
If you are lucky, you can also see the spectacular red rock beach.
The above are some of my relevant itinerary recommendations.
What places are worth traveling to in western Sichuan? 1. Bipeng Valley: Bipeng Valley is located in Li County, Aba Prefecture, Sichuan, and is a scenic spot in Miyaluo.
The autumn of Bipenggou is very beautiful. It is a relatively well-known red leaf viewing resort in China. It is a national AAAA-level scenic spot. Bipenggou's major attractions include Longwang Sea, Namu Lake, Argyang Lake and other areas.
Every year from September to November, the red leaves represented by red maples will decorate the entire valley with colorful colors. Together with the snow-capped mountains and glaciers in the distance, the visual effect is very original.
2. Daocheng Yading: Daocheng Yading is a provincial-level scenic spot, and is also known as "the last Shangri-La" and "the last pure land on the blue planet". This shows how beautiful and shocking its scenery is.
Summer is a great time to visit Daocheng. Under the clear sky, everything is so beautiful and romantic. Luorong Cattle Farm is especially recommended. You can see the unique scene of green grass and snow-capped mountains on the same screen. It is very suitable for taking pictures and family outings.
3. Mugecuo: Mugecuo, also known as "Barbarian Sea" and "Dahaizi", is one of the largest alpine lakes in northwest Sichuan.
It is surrounded by mountains, forests, small seas such as the Red Sea, Black Sea, and White Sea, and the scenery is very rich.
When the weather is fine, looking at the snow-capped mountains in the distance will give you a feeling of a holy wonderland. It is one of the scenic spots worth visiting in Western Sichuan.
4. Siguniang Mountain: Siguniang Mountain is located in Xiaojin County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture. The reason why this mountain is called Siguniang Mountain is that it is said that four girls fought against demons and monsters to protect giant pandas, and finally turned into four tall and handsome mountains.
The peak is Siguniang Mountain.
The animal and plant resources here are very rich, and the scenery is simple and quiet. It is a niche tourist attraction that many travel enthusiasts visit.
