People swimming in Yongjiang River

At the end of November, the temperature in Nanning is pleasant in the morning. After breakfast, you can go to the Yongjiang River with only a short sleeve, and there is no wet and cold feeling brought by water vapor.

that day, the clouds were thick and covered the sky in Nanning, slightly gloomy, but gradually thinned above the river, and a hole appeared, and the sun shone on the fine debris on the Yongjiang River along the hole, sparkling. With the lively sound of morning exercises in the riverside Minsheng Square, I feel comfortable.

the Yongjiang river is not wide, about two or three hundred meters, and it twists and turns through Nanning city. My walk is at one corner. On this side of the river is Minsheng Square, and on the other side of the river is Binjiang Park. Although the two parks face each other across the river, there is more than one way to get there from here by car.

The black spots in the river floated. At first, I thought they were buoys, but when I looked back at the river every five minutes, the position of the black spots changed. When I got closer, I found that someone had crossed the Yongjiang River. It's not that I've never seen anyone swim in the city, but in the provincial capital, people who cross the river back and forth are really only seen in Nanning. The reason for recording this matter specially is not because it is difficult, but because Nanning people are really leisurely.

When swimmers go ashore, they don't hurry to wipe their bodies with towels, and they don't hurry to change clothes or leave. They just sit in a daze or joke on the bank. They are probably over 5 years old, and their posture has no sense of lines after long-term exercise. An aunt still has a swimming ring beside her. But I think this is the embodiment of leisure. I have no purpose. I just want to swim in Yongjiang River with my partner one morning.

If I were asked to write a travel guide for Nanning, I think I would put the park first. If there is no specific park, it is an ordinary park. If you have time, you can visit every park in the city.

In Nanning, the significance of parks to groups is very light, and it provides a place for Nanning citizens to socialize and have activities. Of course, parks in every place have such a role, but Nanning citizens have played this role to the extreme.

when I walk into every park, my first feeling is excitement and diversity. Square dancers, choirs, Tai Chi lovers, sword dancers, every group plays loud music, and occasionally some people who walk quickly play the news of the day. These voices are harmonious, warm and leisurely in the small space of the park.

There are also elderly people playing dialect operas on the radio outside the corner of the park. The tunes are sad and tactful, and they are mixed with the laughter of the children around them, showing another style of leisure in the cool summer sunset in the subtropical monsoon climate.

I also saw a group of people dressed in cultural shirts, participating in the running activities organized by the company in the park, and finally supporting and encouraging each other and reaching the finish line. And such intimacy and sense of community, I have not seen for many years. I think, if I apply for a job in Nanning, the first thing I should do is to put "love for the collective" in the first place. This is not ridicule, but another feature I have experienced in my short time with this city, besides leisure, is sincerity. Only those who are sincere to others can help each other to the finish line. (Slightly melodramatic, private Mason)

From Wuxu Airport to the bus to the downtown area, the flight attendant told the passengers with a slight Nanpu that the bus will be disinfected every 2 minutes, so please wear masks and don't be afraid of viruses. Hearing this, I was amused by the flight attendant's honest and frank and cuteness.

I found out after I arrived at the hotel that this kind of honest and frank may be owned by Nanning. I met Bao Jie in the elevator, said hello to me and talked to me. What a coincidence! She also went to the fourth floor. After the elevator door opened, she dragged the cleaning car out of the elevator and wished me happiness. In the elevator room, I saw a service sign on which she claimed to be a "master cleaner". A wonderful feeling of mixing Chinese and English with sincerity.

Going out for food, I passed a historic building-Yuedong Guild Hall, and the door of the Guild Hall became a place to repair capacity. The customers closed their eyes, while the aunt who repaired the face pulled a string with her teeth and hands to help them remove excess hair from their faces. The scene was so strange that I stopped to watch it for a while. My leisure aunt saw me curious and took the initiative to say hello and asked me where I came from. At that moment, I suddenly felt that in this city, you don't have to worry too much about offending others, just communicate with them with sincere heart.

Later in Nanning, I completely took off my disguise and showed my most ignorant side. For any curious food, I will hold the owner to ask questions, practices and characteristics. If the food is delicious, I also give them the most sincere praise. And these are things I have never tried before.

it may be a little overkill, but it feels good to be honest with others.

riding a battery car should be one of the happiest things in Nanning. Riding on the road in Nanning at a speed of 15 kilometers per hour, the wind of 25 degrees blows head-on. You don't have to stare at the map on your mobile phone, but your eyes are all left to the road conditions and buildings on both sides of the street.

if you miss your destination, just ride back. It's effortless anyway.

The battery car is an indispensable means of transportation in Nanning. At the moment of red light, a group of various battery cars immediately gathered at the intersection, just like blocked sardines. As soon as the green light came on, this group of sardines immediately swam and headed for the next intersection. I even have an illusion. Flying Buddha cars and bicycles are cheap things in Nanning. Only when you have a battery car, you can shuttle flexibly in the traffic and become a battery rider, can you really be a cousin in Nanning.

I ran a red light or rode the wrong way at the crossroads several times, fearing that the traffic police would chase me and be fined. But later, I found that as long as I don't go too far, there is no problem (of course, I still have to abide by the rules). The traffic in Nanning is a disorderly order.

The road conditions and traffic planning in Nanning are not excellent. Pedestrians, bicycles, battery cars, cars and all means of transportation are vying for the road. Riding a bicycle, you can often see pedestrians walking in the middle of the road. Electric cars often overtake cars parked on the side of the road from the left, forcing the vehicles behind them to stop.

but I don't know if the city is used to leisure, or if everyone is too good-tempered (of course, it may be that my stay is too short). I have never seen a car honking its horn wildly. Pedestrians in the road will immediately retreat to the side when they hear the bell. In short, the experience is good.

The reason for choosing Nanning to travel is because I heard that there are many delicious foods, and you can eat for two days just in the water street. Therefore, the expectation of Nanning food is very high, but it is precisely because of too much expectation that I just got full when I arrived in Nanning. But you have to eat when you are full, because time is precious. I hope to try all the delicious food in the plan as much as possible. Finally, I entered a state where I mentioned eating and couldn't help but feel queasy.

But anyway, the food in Nanning is worth a special trip for this city. But what opened my eyes was the decentralization and routine of Nanning's catering industry.

at night in Nanning, I walked back to the hotel from downtown, less than two kilometers away, and there were no fewer than five night markets, large and small, all of which were lively. On the edge of a construction site that is still under construction, a cart paved with sugar water is parked at the entrance and exit of the construction site. Three or five guests are waiting in line for sugar water, and less than one meter beside them is a roaring cement mixer.

It can be seen that Nanning people are obsessed with eating.

When I arrived at the hotel, I took a turn on a whim and chose a path. There are snack bars along the way, and people enjoying the cool at night and customers waiting to pack are sitting at the door of each store.

I think how can the take-away industry survive in Nanning in a city where it is so easy to get a piece of food? But perhaps the leisurely state of Nanning itself determines that people in this city do not need to race against time for a food.

I stayed in Nanning for less than 48 hours, but the city left such a deep impression on me that after a month, I still insisted on making up my unwritten travel notes.

I remember that on Saturday afternoon, I rode my bike to Nanhu Park, crossed a small street with a strong flavor of life, passed a small downhill and turned into another path. At that moment, I was attracted by the small house and green plants in front of me, and stopped for five minutes in time. It was a feeling shrouded in a tiny but definite happiness.

People and cities in Nanning give people such a feeling. Of course, there are shortcomings, that is, the culture is barren. I wanted to punch in at a bookstore. However, it was found that it had already closed, and it was replaced by a stylish snail powder shop.

but I think if I have money, I'd like to live here ~ (live for a month a year, right? Hahahaha)
