On April 29th, 2022, Fuzhou Metro Line 5 will be officially opened for operation. The first phase of Fuzhou Rail Transit Line 5 starts from Houyu Station in Jingxi and ends at Fuzhou South Station. There are 20 stations on the whole line, all of which are underground stations. It passes through Jingxi New City, Jinshan District, Xuyi District and Nantai Island East District, connecting important nodes such as Fuzhou Strait Olympic Sports Center and Fuzhou South Station.
There are 20 stations in the first phase of Line 5, including 5 transfer stations, namely Tang Hong Road Station, Jinzhou South Road Station, Fuwan Road Station, Luozhou Station and Fuzhou South Station. Specific stations include Jingxi Houyu Station, Agriculture and Forestry University Station, Tang Hong Station, Zhanqian Station, Ma Rong Station, Jinshan Station, Fenggangli Station, Pushang Avenue Station, Xiajing Station, Dongling Station, Yu Tai Station, Panyu Station, Wushan Station, Gaishan Zhulan Station, Xuyi Station, Difengjiang Station, Luozhou Ancient Town Station, Qianjin Station, Longjiang Station and Fuzhou South Station.
Vehicle facilities of Fuzhou Metro Line 5
Fuzhou Metro Line 5 adopts B-type metro vehicles. Each train has 6 carriages, with a top speed of 80 kilometers per hour, and can accommodate more than 1800 people. The carriage is mainly purple. For example, the wheelchair holder and the upper armrest in the carriage are decorated with purple. The car is also equipped with a larger LCD dynamic map, which makes it easier to read the arrival information. The seat is made of stainless steel, which makes it easier to maintain for a long time, and the front fork armrest is easier to hold.
