Zhuang nationality, formerly known as Liao Li, is one of the oldest ethnic groups in southwest China. This is a place with hundreds of people in ancient times. Bankers have had different names throughout the ages. In the past, Zhuang people wrote "convex", then changed it to "tong" and then changed it to "Zhuang", which has been used ever since.
The town of Shuolong, which we went to this time, is located on the Sino-Vietnamese border. 100 years ago, an agreement divided the two sides of Guichunjiang into two countries. Because it is only separated by a river, people on both sides of the strait often exchange needed goods. Therefore, Mandarin, Vietnamese and Zhuang language are almost universally used in this Zhuang village.
As soon as I entered the village, I met the village's 104-year-old grandmother, who was in good health and enthusiastically communicated with us in Mandarin.
Only when I came to the village this time did I know that women here are the pillars of the family, but men have become housewives. That's why I told married people not to marry wives.
In order to welcome our arrival, these Vietnamese are singing enthusiastically in Vietnamese. Of course, they are also fluent in Mandarin.
In fact, when I came to this ancient Zhuang village this time, what I was most looking forward to was the Zhuangwang banquet, also called the dustpan banquet (because the dishes were served in a huge bamboo dustpan).
Now we often say that there should be a sense of ceremony in life. This kind of banquet for the king of Zhuang once existed when the Zhuang people toasted their guests, and it was a banquet with a sense of ceremony.
There are dozens of big round tables in a greenhouse opposite the promenade. It may be that in the past, the banker's toast served guests in this way. As soon as I sat down, I saw a young man waiting by the door with a gong. When two Zhuang women were carrying a bamboo plaque to the dining table, the man "Kuang Kuang" rang the gong twice and said, "Let's set the banquet!" , they can eat.
These dishes still have Zhuang characteristics, such as honey pumpkin, local river fish, spring rolls with Vietnamese characteristics, chicken in the village, rose rice with Yunnan characteristics and so on.
But what makes my eyes shine the most is this silkworm chrysalis. In these two days in Detian Waterfall, it seems that this kind of fried silkworm chrysalis is always indispensable for every dinner. Many people at our table are afraid to eat, only me and another girl are very tasty. It is said that this kind of silkworm chrysalis is particularly nutritious, especially in protein. And it's crispy outside and crispy inside, and it tastes great. I'm afraid many people are scared by this.
After dinner, we went to the silverware shop in the village and were always interested in the silverware of Zhuang nationality. I saw ZhuangXiaoZi with muskets, spray, slowly silverware has some appearance.
Every time I see a Zhuang girl singing and dancing with silver ornaments on her head, I always wonder how heavy it should be. How do they ensure that this headdress won't fall off? The shopkeeper took the initiative to show us the treasures of the town shop in the window. I wore this silver headdress and necklace out of curiosity.
Exquisite workmanship, much lighter than expected. Maybe it is convenient to wear. The silver piece of the headdress is very thin. Unlike this silver belt, it's heavy.
See if I can pretend to be a Zhuang girl like this?
