1, Laba porridge

3. Laba garlic

In most parts of northern China, the custom of soaking garlic with vinegar on the eighth day of the twelfth lunar month is called "Laba garlic". Soak Laba garlic with purple garlic and rice vinegar. Peel garlic cloves, soak them in rice vinegar and seal them in a small jar. Garlic soaked in vinegar will turn green, and finally it will turn green. After soaking, the pungent garlic itself will become less irritating and slightly spicy and refreshing. It is the best seasoning for eating jiaozi, and can also be used to mix cold dishes.

4, Laba tofu

Laba tofu is one of the traditional folk snacks in yi county. On the eighth day of the twelfth lunar month, every household has to bake tofu, which is called Laba tofu by the common people.

The production process of Laba tofu is basically the same as that of ordinary tofu, except that the finished product is extruded and specially seasoned, and then baked slowly in the mild sunshine in winter, so that the salt is gradually inhaled and the water is gradually dried, thus making Laba tofu. The color of the finished product is yellow and jade-like, the entrance is soft, salty and sweet, and the fragrance is fresh and cool.

5. Laba noodles

In Chengcheng area around Weibei, Shaanxi Province, porridge is generally not drunk on Laba Festival. On the morning of the eighth day of the twelfth lunar month, every household eats several bowls of laba noodles. Laba noodles evolved from Laba porridge, so a bowl of hot noodles is usually cooked with eight kinds of vegetables and special minced meat on the morning of Laba Festival.
