After 2004, students began to rent houses outside slowly, and the stalls selling breakfast began to increase.

With the influx of students and graduates who work in the local area every year, the number of shops is also increasing. At that time, the environmental capacity did not adapt to the growing population, so it suddenly looked dirty and smelly, so the name of "garbage street" slowly spread at this time.

Because graduates want to find a house to live in, so the suite is required to have a separate bathroom. The rent for ordinary rooms is around 200 yuan, and the rent for suites can reach 250-300 yuan. This also prompted local residents to rectify their houses and rent them out. The villagers tasted the sweetness, so they built and renovated their houses. This also made this land gain a lot of popularity.

Around 2006, garbage street began to expand outward, extending from east to south to Chujiatan and westward to Yangjiadun Street.

Yangjiadun Community has built Yangjiadun Building and Yangjiadun Commercial Street, which further developed the tertiary industry and formed the present pattern.
