The 2023 Surabaya Peach Blossom Festival will be held from March 25 to April 10 at Taoyuan Scenic Area (main venue), Xitou Village, Gaoyu Town, and Yuehu Business and Confucian Research Base North, Zhang Town (branch venue) ) held (the main venue is March 25th and 26th). The theme of this year’s Peach Blossom Festival is “Revitalizing rural prosperity and setting sail for a prosperous age”. In addition to flower viewing, a variety of participatory interactive activities are also prepared for tourists. This flower viewing event starts in mid-March and lasts for two months to mid-May. It is large-scale, rich in content, frequent highlights, and highly participatory. There are six flower viewing festivals including Plum Blossom Festival, Peach Blossom Festival, Apricot Blossom Festival, Pear Blossom Festival, Cherry Blossom Festival and Sophora Blossom Festival. The Plum Blossom Festival is held from March 16th to March 31st at the Sishui Plum Garden in Jinzhuang Town. The main contents include plum appreciation in the garden, plum garden delicacies tasting, etc. The Apricot Blossom Festival is from March 18th to March 31st, and the main festival is on March 18th and 19th. The main venue is the Pearl Oil Apricot Base in Shengshuiyu Town, and the branch venue is Longmen Mountain in Zhongce Town. The main activities include: the opening ceremony of the Xinghua Tourism and Culture Festival, the launching ceremony of the 2023 "Beautiful Landscapes Charming Holy Water Fish" Photography Contest, hiking competitions, special food tastings and various theatrical performances.
