Kangqiaoyuan Restaurant is located at the entrance of the southeast gate of the school, at the southern end of Wu Tong East Road. This is the longest-serving restaurant in Xi Jiaotong University. The dining room is divided into four floors, the first, second and third floors are student canteens, and the fourth floor is staff canteens.

The first floor of Kangqiaoyuan Restaurant has the most kinds of food, including rice, vegetables, noodles, cakes, steamed stuffed buns and porridge. On the other hand, there are relatively few kinds of food on the second and third floors and there are not as many windows as on the first floor, but the dining tables on the second and third floors look more upscale than on the first floor. The fourth floor is the staff dining room, the dining environment and the types of meals provided are relatively high-grade and rich, and it is generally only open to employees.

Generally speaking, the food in Kangqiaoyuan Restaurant is relatively heavy, which may be because the restaurant has been put into use for a long time, and the overall feeling is a bit shabby, but the hygiene is still up to standard, so you can safely eat it boldly.

Wutongyuan Restaurant was completed and put into use on 20 14, located at the southernmost part of Wu Tong West Road, west of the main administrative building. Relatively speaking, it is more complete than Kangqiaoyuan Restaurant. Wutongyuan is generally divided into three floors, the first and second floors are restaurants chosen by students, and the third floor is staff restaurants and Muslim restaurants, with clear division.

The student canteen on the first floor of Wutongyuan is where breakfast is served. Every morning, many teachers and students come here for breakfast, including soybean milk fritters, porridge buns, pancakes and so on, which are very rich. Noon and afternoon, noodles, desserts, cakes and snacks will be served on the first floor.

Take the elevator or stairs to the second floor, which is the restaurant chosen by students and the newly opened jiaozi restaurant. Most students choose their own restaurants to drink milk tea and eat desserts, while jiaozi Store specializes in jiaozi food such as jiaozi and steamed dumplings.

Take the elevator to the third floor. On the left is the staff canteen, and on the right is the Muslim canteen. The staff canteen is dominated by rice and vegetables, as well as rice noodles, Regan Noodles and Lamian Noodles. Muslim restaurants are specially designed for ethnic minority students and teachers, and all restaurants provide ethnic minority meals.

Teachers and students can go to staff canteens and student canteens without restrictions, but students can get cheaper fees.
