Add water to the marinated meat sauce and pour it into the pot. cook the meat, add ginger slices and star anise. Cook on medium heat for about half an hour. Put the cooked meat in a bowl and steam it for 3 hours (it's faster in a pressure cooker, just 5 minutes). After steaming, put the juice in the bowl into the pot with broth just now, collect the juice over high fire, thicken it and pour it on the meat.

The ancient Dongpo meat was stewed in a small jar, so I used an enamel pot, and it tasted good after a small fire for 1.5 hours.
