If you are a woman, you must miss your menstrual period, just make sure that the day is not, so as to prevent compensatory bleeding.
Before tooth extraction, you should relax yourself, and don't have excessive psychological burden. For normal eating, you'd better choose to have your teeth extracted in the morning, so that you can consult a doctor about tooth extraction after tooth extraction (afternoon), and relatively speaking, there will be less bleeding in the morning than in the afternoon.
After tooth extraction, you will bite cotton for 2-4 minutes. Normal young people usually take 2-3 minutes. Never bite for too long. Try to reduce or stop talking with your mouth open when biting cotton. Try to swallow saliva with blood in your mouth. After all, there is nothing disgusting and terrible about yourself. If you keep spitting, it will also affect the healing of the window.
You can't brush your teeth and rinse your mouth (drink water, don't rinse) on the day of tooth extraction, and you can't smoke and drink. Don't eat hot and sour food (eating popsicles and ice is optional). Don't eat overheated food.
Never lick the tooth extraction wound with your tongue, don't suck it, and try not to cough, because this will cause the coagulated blood clot to fall off and bleed again.
Generally, it is normal to have blood in saliva within 3 days after tooth extraction, but it is mainly saliva, and blood accounts for a small proportion. If most of it is blood, you need to go to the hospital.
If the hospital where you are treating has an orthodontic agreement, it is of course best to sign an agreement. However, many hospitals and clinics do not have it.
The following precautions are given by the doctor when you go to extract teeth.
1. After tooth extraction, bite the cotton ball in your mouth and gently spit it out after 3-6 minutes.
2. Eat two hours after tooth extraction. The diet should be soft, thin and cool, and avoid chewing with the affected side.
3. Please don't rinse your mouth and brush your teeth repeatedly within 24 hours after tooth extraction, so as not to damage the blood clot of the wound and cause bleeding.
4. Don't be picky with your fingers and toothpicks about the wound at the tooth extraction, so as to avoid bleeding and infection.
5. Please spit less after tooth extraction.
6. It is normal for saliva to contain a small amount of bloodshot 24 hours after tooth extraction. Please don't panic. If there is too much blood or blood clot, you can come to the hospital for treatment at any time.
7. The suture was removed from the hospital 5-7 days later.
8. On the second day after tooth extraction (especially extraction of impacted teeth), if you feel unwell, such as obvious bleeding and aggravated wound pain, please return to the clinic.
I also have an experience, that is, I should brush my teeth on time the next day after tooth extraction, otherwise the tooth extraction will be eroded. Of course, it also depends on the individual's situation. If the bleeding is serious, you should seek medical attention in time and don't move the wound more.
